A Quiet Valentine’s Day . . .
Today was a quiet day. Though it was not devoted to the typical expressions of love between a man and a woman, it was nevertheless embraced with love and devotion of a parent as the time was spent with my children. An enjoyable dinner followed with a daddy baked chocolate cake and smooth creamy vanilla ice cream. A grand day overall.
As we continued our reading of Harry Potter, we listened to Andrea Bocelli. I love opera (few know this) and my children are just beginning to develop some level of appreciation. The following selection was one that captivated their attention to the point where they listened to it three consecutive times.
