    A Quiet Valentine’s Day . . .

Today was a quiet day. Though it was not devoted to the typical expressions of love between a man and a woman, it was nevertheless embraced with love and devotion of a parent as the time was spent with my children. An enjoyable dinner followed with a daddy baked chocolate cake and smooth creamy vanilla ice cream. A grand day overall.

As we continued our reading of Harry Potter, we listened to Andrea Bocelli. I love opera (few know this) and my children are just beginning to develop some level of appreciation. The following selection was one that captivated their attention to the point where they listened to it three consecutive times. On this day of love, I offer the following musical selection and a quote from the Naked Soul.

    Happy Valentine’s Day to all!

    Per Amore by Andrea Bocelli

Note: Disable the SongSpot at the bottom of the sidebar before listening.

Embrace and love your journey, even when that journey does not lead you to what you thought it would. There are reasons for everything, for every curve in the road, for every climb up the hill and for every moment spent in the deep dark valleys of life.

Gail, Andrea Bocelli has a remarkable voice. There is just something in his tone that moves your spirit when listening to him sing. He is by far, one of my favorites. I say “Mmmmm” too.

hawk, i have this thing where both your songs play at once on my computer, one andrea and one celtic…a most unusual and challenging mix to listen too….i can see you standing on a bluff on a mountain looking out, your heart soaring like andrea’s voice, as you drink in the beauty of your favorite lady, mother nature,….because of the way my computer plays both songs, there i am also, over by the trees, not too far away, dancing a jig and weaving wildflowers into my hair…what a beautiful amazing feeling mix…i love life!

Gail, you need to disable the SongSpot at the bottom of the sidebar before listening to Bocelli. My apology. But I’m glad you had an interesting mix.

Gail, I think I’ll refrain from trying the mix. I’m not DJ Jazzy Hawk, but I’m glad you enjoy it.

Jesse, the cake was good. If you have an opportunity to listen to this song by Bocelli in its entirety, it’s well worth the listen.

Thanks for stopping in my friend.
